GSM呼叫建立后能否修改speech version

这是大家在设计GSM软交换遇到的问题，因为主叫指配的speech version，最终的被叫可能不支撑，如AMR。这时候需要把主叫的speech version退到低版本，例如EFR。
GSM04.08章节 5.3.4.3 Changing the Call Mode定义了in-call modification procedure。并且定义了消息Modify：This message is sent by the mobile station to the network or by the network to the mobile station to request a change in bearer capability for a call.
但是我不是很确定是不是支撑修改speech version，因为很多资料都只是提到用Modify修改传输模式，例如语音模式到数据模式。
哪位兄弟有这方面的经验，能不能指点一下。先谢谢了：）
